Travel Information

Auckland is located on the north side of the North Island of New Zealand and is the most populated area in the country. Both domestic and international travel connections to Auckland are excellent. Auckland has a number of small regional airports and the large Auckland Airport.

Auckland Airport is a major airline hub in New Zealand with flights to many major airports in Australasia and South East Asia.

There are also a number of direct flights to further destinations such as Buenas Aires (Argentina),  Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai (China), London (United Kingdom), Los Angeles and San Francisco (United States), Osaka (Japan), Santiago (Chili) and Vancouver (Canada).

Tickets are quite affordable as you can buy a two-way ticket from London to Auckland for as little as 1000 Euro!

Surrounded by green fields and the Manukau Harbour, Auckland Airport is conveniently located near Auckland City. The drive between the airport and the city centre is about 45 minutes.

To get to the airport from the city centre, take the Gilles Ave exit on the southern motorway and follow the signs to Auckland Airport.
