The Fourth Annual Conference of the Technopolicy Network was focused on international strategies and cooperation between innovative regions. What can your region do to facilitate the international expansion of high-tech companies? How can you attract more R&D investment based on the innovative assets your region already has? How can you cooperate with other regions and what are the benefits? Find the answers to these questions at "Internationalization of Regional Innovation" on June 7th and 8th 2007 at The Sheraton Premiere at Tysons Corner Hotel in the Greater Washington area.

The conference dealed with international aspects of science-based regional development and covered important topics such as attracting talent and entrepreneurs, supporting the international growth of high-tech companies, internationalization of R&D, and dealing with cultural differences.

The conference started with an exciting keynote presentation by Richard Florida. This ceremno also included the award ceremony for the Most Entrepreneurial Scientist of North America and inspiring presenters from all over the world.
